In the period January-May 2023 the Average Daily Turnover amounted to 53 €K (down from the average of 2022 equal to 73 €) while the Trading Days are equal to 73% above the average of 2022, or 70%.

In the same period the Total Counter-value is €935 M (in line with the 2022 figure). Analysing the distribution of EGM companies by classes of free float shows that 53% of the market has a free float less than or equal to 30%. Only 18% of companies have a float of more than 50%. The distribution of EGM companies by Average Daily Turnover from IPO shows that 50% of the market exchanges on average a value equal to or less than 50 €K, while 30% exchanges a value between 50 €K and 100 €K.

In the period January to May 2023, FTSE Italia Growth recorded a performance of -2%, in line with the performance recorded by the FTSE Italia Small Cap. Analysing the IPO sector performance, it emerges that the Consumer Durables (+123), Communications (+61%) and Distribution Services (+45%) sectors performed the most. In 2023, 11 out of 18 sectors recorded positive performances: the top 3 sectors are Consumer Non Durables (+51%), Distribution Services (+44%) and Transportation (+23%).
